Undergraduate Research

Students interested in gaining research experience in seismology are encouraged to contact us for research opportunities. The following students worked on various seismological projects at the Graduate School of Oceanography. Their research activities were supported by NSF research grants and the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships in Oceanography (SURFO), a summer program designed primarily for students who have just completed their junior year. There are also year-round research opportunities. URI undergraduates may carry out Special Studies under the guidance of a faculty member.
